Each ratio is category pounds ÷ NET DRY LOAD WEIGHT pounds × 100. Insects sums every “Less Insect” and “Closed Shell Insect” row; blanks sums every “Less Blank” and “Closed Shell Blank” row; dark stain uses the DARK STAINED category’s starting pounds, before its own deductions. Rows that repeat across sections are identified by section and counted once each. Comparison is against the unrounded percentage; the figure shown is rounded to two decimals. Open “which rows fed these” under any lot to see exactly what was counted.
Only the yellow review band is active. No severe (red) quality band is configured, so no ratio is coloured red. Other defects, combined deductions and payable recovery ratios carry no quality colour at all. This is separate from the OCR and arithmetic checks, which still flag and highlight cells as before.
A ratio reads Unable to assess whenever the base weight or any contributing row is missing or unreadable. It is never shown as clear or as zero on missing data.
